John's bday party
attended John cuz's bday party yesterday (220106 Sunday) at Orchard Park Suites
everyone's turning 21 dis yr.. most of us at least. some scary shit man.
well, the party was not bad altho the set up was laggy and late.
the food was great, so many babes there too!
hurhur.. some were bimbotic some where flat.. ya
but most were tall and chatty and hav a pretty face.
1 of which was the photographer for the evenin. nice girl by the name of Jermaine.
dere were many guys too. all the AC guys i suppose..
Grace cuzy, Shiqin, Danielle and Nic Yap were there to keep me company too. =)
needless to say they know John too.
seeing trevor, guangzhao, shaun ting, choy, edward and the other guys were like OMG moment! haha..
well, it was a really long time ago since i last saw any of dem!
it was nice to see dem i suppose.. :)
ol' frens.. back frm days when we were all only 16... hahaha
gosh trevor doesnt seemed like he changed 1 bit.
still always hitting on chics! :P last time was Dan. even at the party he was hitting on Nic's ex-classmate. but i must say she's got nice long legs and a really pretty face.
gosh, i feel intimidated alr. haha!
Guangzhao surprised me wif his new gf.. haha. dun seem like e sort he'd go for but ya.. *shrugs*
edward's attached too. his gf was dere. sweet lookin thing.
john, the bday boy, so poor thing.. but he was damn bz dat evening anyways.. lookin after his guests and wad nots.
k la but he did a not bad job.. so shall gif e fella some credit.

we had OTD today, OTD stands for Organisational Theory and Design.
well, as usual, me, i was dozing off in lecture.
it was damn BORING!
he was going on NON-STOP abt which continent and which city he came frm
and that he is a ABC, purely born and raised in NY, dat his passport is damn thick, that he has a S'porean Chinese wife, that he has stayed in S'pore since 1992 and wad he specialises in, wad he knows, comments on the RMIT lecturer (course coordinator), and why we shudnt get mixed up with Canadians and Americans...... and the list goes on......
*faints*
i wud like to quote jasmine.. "we paid S$100++ for dis lecture to listen to him tell us abt his life story and wad nots."

yup so finally after an hour of his talking abt himself mainly, we start lecture proper. he ended lecture at 5.10pm wif only a 15min break in between a 3 hr super dry lecture.
goodness.. duno wads up wif dis dude man.
he was explaining emails dat pple sent him, abt assessment requirements and wad he looks out for. the questions pple ask him and how he had to answer dem...
like spare us the details alr rite... we're all so tired!
esp so for me cos i had MR (marketing research) frm 9.30-12.20pm
well at least it's Patricia... :) she's nice la.
concise and precise. to the point. i like!
bumped into her during the break. she was smiling and waved me to come over..
so we walked toward each other to hav a little chat abt me being in her class agn dis sem.
well, i'll b seeing her dis sem and next agn.
lets hope i clear MR properly dis sem.
coursework seems lighter and "easier" on us dis sem.
case study project, mid-term test, tutorial exercises, and exams.
i cud do dat.
but whether i can pass is a seperate question in it?
nvm leave it to God.
everything happens for a reason anyway.
am done being upset abt repeating. cept dat it gets really boring during her lec cos i alr know everything.. crap. complacency.
however i must say dat dis sem, for MR, dis batch, got quite alot of 'harlow theres' man! tsktsktsk. k la more guys dis time round.. more proportioned. if not like my batch, can literally count the no. of guys. somemore all so crappy looking... hurhur =P
no eye candies as yet.... *yawnzzzz*

Chinatown pilgrimage
Visited Chinatown yesterday.
bright lights, lotsa pple, lotsa food & drinks everywhere!
it was fun! :)
so many things to see and do.
went with cuzy, CP, Jav, Beckie, Keong, my sis & Dennis.
we had dinner then we walked ard to soak up the atmosphere..
all the decorations and music playing.. stage performances! wow everywhere!
the wet weather din quite get to us, luckily.
it rained for a brief period. pretty heavily i mite add. but it was all gd in e end =)
i bought stickers for my mum, some cookies, my cream straw bag and a pair of shoes.
haha
so playful!
the queues for bak kwa was superbly long
i had a HUGE craving for that.
*nyum nyum nyum*
cant wait to get my hands on dem! haa
also, layer cake! or kueh lapis!
ohhh i so hav to eat dat! hmm wonder if my gramps will make it dis yr!
her specialty ma.. a must have every CNY! =P
so fast, CNY is jus next week! so exciting!
wonder how dat's gonna work out... :)
oh ya! i'm hereby inviting frens to my hse, if anybody wanna come visit my parents & i, jus drop me a msg ya? 30th Jan. anytime before 9pm i suppose. =)

meet-up wif kc pri sch mates
met zhong ying, guan yuan, shu an and leisha for dinner earlier today - 7.30pm at siglap's Thai Express.
wow. it's been a truly long time.
we knew each other since pri 1! beat dat!
gosh... dats like 14yrs ago!
was really nice catching up with dem. as usual lots of laughter and jokes as well as memories of the past.
we all chatted as if time and distance was nvr a factor.
i havent seen leisha since sec sch days - she went to TKSS.
zhongying, guan yuan and i hardly met up during her JC days..
so ya this is a "long-awaited" reunion.
was really comforting seeing them :)

met CP, Jav and Chekkerz at Lucky Plaza.
had macs lunch b4 we set off for our quest to search for Dan's 21st Bday present.
more effort is required for dis special occasion!
well, Dan's finally an adult! :) the 1st amongst us all. proud of u babe!
so we walked ard Lucky Plaza - searched high and low for a suitable and 'within-our-budget' type of MP3 player.
we got a 512MB Panasonic player at $175 frm Southern Cross.
not bad la. better den getting a 1GB LeMon player at $140. so dodgy man.. it looked bad too! produced locally... hmm.. *shrugs*
so after developing pictures, pasting dem and individually writing our sweet nothings on Dan's bday card, we packed everythin up, felt really proud of the work. esp when grace did bulk of it - which turned out superbly well =) (^5 cuz!!)
we headed over to Dan's place at blk32 Marine Cresent - where she celebrated her bday.
was pretty fun :) more like a chill out gathering type thing.
her mum & aunts prepared quite a feast i must say and the bday cake! wow wow wow. SUPERB! AWFULLY CHOCOLATE ok!!!!!! beat dat! haa! =P

jacob's 1yr bday party

we did try to fit in tho.. wif the kids.

attended my parents' godson's 1 yr old birthday party earlier..
it was a dinner buffet. nice spread :)
am feeling pretty tired frm the day's rigour alr.. even tho i din do much.. :P
so many little toddlers running ard, screaming & shouting.. ooh wad a headache! haha
but i met a cutie.. as u can c frm e above pics.. din get a chance to carry the bday boy tho.. he's a handful compared to the 1 i carried. always squirming & biting pple.. haha
oh well.. kids...
hmm.. left my hse n headed for TP library at 3pm. also popped by 201 area to get some toiletries b4 the library. finding my references were pretty productive! managed to find wad i was lookin for. hopefully it'll aid in the grp's efforts.
so much for today, my sat wasnt all dat exciting.. but yea it was aite.. :) no complaints.. guess i'm very tired dats all.

so we were walking ard at orchard the whole time den qin left at 6pm for floorball training while denise left at 5+ to meet her fren at PS for a movie. cuzy & i jus continued walkin & window shoppin..
nic came to join us at wisma's food court abt 6+ 7 den we had our dinner. after dinner we went to get grace's dress. she looked grt in it really. after getting the dress, we headed for Kino. looked ard b4 goin our seperate ways.
cuzy headed hm while nic & i headed to Wala. as we thot it was still kinda early (ard 9pm) we decided to go to 7-11 & Sasa to kill some time. by the time we got to Wala was 9.45pm. and low & behold! dere was a superbly long queue! damn!!!
Nic thot dere was a glimmer of hope when he saw his AC fren, BUT sadly, e dude alr entered Wala, he jus came out to see his frens. and apparently they cudnt admit anymore pple cos upstairs was fully packed. =(
another sad incident - cant listen to EIC. just like e other time. just when we go so psyched up to hear a live band.. *sigh* oh well.. so we had to tink on our toes! a contigency plan! wad shall we do now..? hmmmm.. so Nic suggested we go chk out Little Bali - wow, grt suggestion! so we headed back to his place to get his dad's car and drove over to Little Bali. simply lovely. grt place to chill out. u guys so hav to chk it out! see the pics below for some snippets. =)
after Little Bali, he drove us to Tanjong Rhu area to chit chat and catch up before sending me home. :)
